Origins
No one remembers a time before Khurash. It wasn’t born, not in the way mortals understand. It just was—already there when the first sparks met air and the planes settled into place. Other smoke elementals have appeared over the ages, each one ambitious in its own way. But none of them lasted. One by one, they faded or were consumed. Khurash remained. Not because it fought for the role, but because the role fit around it like smoke in a vessel.

Description
Khurash doesn’t walk or speak the way people do. When it appears, it’s a tall, slow swirl of thick smoke, always shifting—never quite holding one shape for long. There might be something like a face in there, or maybe it’s just your mind trying to find one. Its presence is quiet but unmistakable. The air feels warmer, a little dry, like standing too close to a dying fire. When it speaks, the sound drifts more than echoes, and you feel it more in your lungs than your ears. It has no temples, no clergy. The act of lighting incense, watching smoke curl into the air, or burning something with intent is prayer enough.

Dogma
Khurash teaches that everything changes—often quietly, often without warning. Smoke never stays still. It rises, twists, fades. That’s how life moves too. You’re not meant to hold on forever. Things pass. People change. What was solid becomes memory. There’s no need to fear that. Let things move. Let them blur. Let them go.
