Origins
Malzark was once a fire dwarf, a forge cleric devoted to the old magma deity Vorthuun. He lived deep beneath Aevzakar’s scorched surface, tending molten altars and shaping relics from living stone. When Vorthuun was killed during the War of Burning Crowns, the earth split open, and deities bled fire. Malzark stood at the heart of it all. In the chaos, he took in the last embers of his dying deity, and something in him changed. When the lava cooled, a new deity had risen.

Description
Malzark looks like a dwarf carved from cooling magma—broad, cracked, and glowing from within. Obsidian horns curl from his brow, and fire drips from his beard like slag. He doesn’t speak in words, but in the slow pressure of tectonic will. His followers build their shrines in lava tubes and collapsed caverns, where obsidian walls ring with heat and whispered prayers. They say he visits them in dreams, not with visions, but with the weight of burning stone pressing against their chest.

Dogma
True power is forged under pressure. Burn away weakness. Let nothing soft or sky-born rule the deep places. Take what lies beneath and make it yours. Malzark teaches that strength is earned by crushing everything that resists you—and remaking yourself in the heat that remains. Worship isn’t about praise; it’s about endurance.

Home Sphere
Malzark’s domain lies in the Cineræxis Sphere, where fire spills across the stars and even wildspace smolders. His name is strongest on Aevzakar, a world of endless magma fields and obsidian hollows, and in the drifting ruins of Vorthuun—the Slag Moon Cluster. His temples there burn without flame, lit from below by rivers of molten stone and bound in chains of iron cooled just enough not to melt.
