Origins
Selene Starwhisper was born in the Ethereal Enclave, a city existing on the Ethereal Plane and is the capital of ghost elven society. As a former priestess of the previous goddess of the night, she was gifted the title and role when the time was right. And she will do so for her favored priestess when it is time.

Selene's existence is a blend of ethereal and tangible, reflecting the dual nature of her domains. She became the guardian of the night, the moon, and the secrets that weave through the threads of reality. As a guide between realms, she moves effortlessly between the Material and Ethereal Planes.

Description
Selene is an ethereal elf of timeless beauty, her skin radiating a soft, silvery luminescence. Her hair flows like liquid moonlight, and her eyes gleam with the mysteries of the night. Selene is often depicted in flowing, star-studded robes that seem to mirror the night sky. When she walks, it's as if shadows and moonbeams dance around her, leaving an ethereal trail.

Dogma
Embrace the Night: Selene encourages her followers to find solace, wisdom, and inspiration in the embrace of the night. The night is a canvas for dreams, a realm where secrets are revealed and hidden truths come to light.

Divine Realm
Selene's divine realm, known as the Moonshadow Sanctum, is a citadel suspended between the Ethereal and Material planes and as such is a place where all creatures exist on both the Ethereal and Material planes. It is a place of perpetual night, illuminated by the soft glow of the moon. The sanctum holds hidden passages leading to all places in the multiverse where shadows exist.

Clergy and Temples
The clergy of Selene includes moon priests and shadowcasters who channel the mysteries of the night. Temples dedicated to the Nightweaver are often built in secluded and moonlit locations, adorned with silver and obsidian motifs. Their inner sanctums are said to be manifest zones of the Ethereal Plane.

Rivalries
Selene maintains a neutral stance, as the night itself encompasses both light and shadow. However, she opposes entities that seek to exploit secrets for malicious purposes or disturb the delicate balance between light and darkness.
